Jamie Parkerson began his journey in the jewelry industry in August of 1986 at the age of 19, right here in Starkville at The Jeweler's Bench. Over the next three decades he honed his skills at the bench, earned his Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America, and built a reputation across the Golden Triangle as someone customers could trust completely with their most precious pieces. Opening J. Parkerson Jewelers in 2017 was the realization of a lifelong dream, and every day in the store is a reflection of everything he has spent his career working toward.
